The American Academy in Rome will host a special concert at the Villa Aurelia dedicated to the Pines of Rome, in recognition of the beauty they share, the symbolic force of their presence, and the shade and shadow they provide.

The artist Mel Chin (2024 Resident) will select from a diverse body of actions and artworks from social practice, installations, paintings, sculptures to exquisitely crafted objects to respond to some of the investigations of Rome Prize Fellows and Residents.
