Open Studios 2024
Open Studios 2024 showcases the work in progress of seventeen Rome Prize winners, Italian Fellows, and Affiliated Fellows at the American Academy in Rome. Visitors will explore the McKim, Mead & White Building discovering music, artworks, installations, film screenings, performances, and readings from the fellows in architecture, landscape architecture, literature, musical composition, historic preservation, and visual arts.
Participating artists are: Kamrooz Aram, Nao Bustamante, Elif Batuman, Mike Cloud, Emily B. Frank, Erica Hunt, Baldwin Giang, César Lopez, Ajay Manthripragada, Sabrina Monreale, Miranda Mote, Estefania Puerta Grisales, Jeanine Oleson, Kate Soper, Lauren Stimson, Shruti Swamy, and Lan Tuazon.
Open Studios 2024 takes place from 6:00 to 9:00pm CET.
For access to the Academy, guests will be asked to show a valid photo ID. Backpacks and luggage with dimensions larger than 40 x 35 x 15 cm (16 x 14 x 6 in.) are not permitted on the property. There are no locker facilities available. You may not bring animals (with the exception of seeing-eye/guide dogs).
The Academy is accessible to wheelchair users and others who need to avoid stairs.
