When do we choose to stand for truth—and at what cost? Are we heroes defying power, strategists safeguarding knowledge, or simply afraid of the consequences? These questions have haunted humanity across history: Galileo Galilei before the Inquisition in Rome, Bertolt Brecht before the House Un-American Activities Committee. In times of political intolerance and the resurgence of authoritarianism, such tests return. My project reimagines Brecht’s Life of Galileo as an immersive performance environment where the audience is tested.
