Adam Yarinsky – Art, Architecture and Place
The architect Adam Yarinsky will deliver a Zoom lecture entitled “Art, Architecture and Place.” His firm Architecture Research Office (ARO) has a diverse body of work defined by a methodology of inquiry, engagement, and collaboration. Projects for the Judd Foundation, Rothko Chapel, Dia Art Foundation, and Frederic Edwin Church’s Olana are case studies of how ARO’s design approach is grounded in reciprocity between art and place. Through architecture, ARO supports artists’ intentions and the missions of the cultural organizations that perpetuate their legacies.
Adam Yarinsky is the 2024 William A. Bernoudy Architect in Residence at the American Academy in Rome and a principal at Architecture Research Office in Brooklyn.
This event, to be presented exclusively online, is free and open to the public.
