Elif Batuman is the 2024 John Guare Writers Fund Rome Prize Fellow, a gift of Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman, and adjunct associate professor in the Department of English at Columbia University’s Barnard College.

John Delury is the 2024 Tsao Family Rome Prize Fellow and professor of Chinese studies at Yonsei University.
