Anthony Doerr and David Kertzer win Pulitzer Prizes, Agnes Denes and The Living Pyramid
Two Academy writers, Anthony Doerr, FAAR 2005, and David Kertzer, RAAR 2000 have been awarded 2015 Pulitzer Prizes. Doerr’s book All the Light We Cannot See (2014) won for fiction. Kertzer won in the category biography or autobiography with The Pope and Mussolini: The Secret History of Pius XI and the Rise of Fascism in Europe (2014).

Agnes Denes, FAAR 1998 is one of eleven women artists spotlighted in "Works in Progress" in the May 17, 2015 issue of T Magazine (page 156). Her newest work is The Living Pyramid at Socrates Sculpture Park in Long Island City, Queens. The installation was inaugurated on Sunday, May 17 with a planting of grass and wildflower seeds by volunteers, friends, and acquiantances. Assembly of the piece and growing of the grass will be completed in June; it will be on view through August 30, 2015.
