Resource description
The SAMR was founded to foster the interdisciplinary study of the religions of the ancient Mediterranean basin, especially the interaction of the multiple polytheistic religions with each other and with the emerging monotheistic religions of the region. It aims to bring together scholars of Near Eastern studies, Classics, Huistory of Religion and other related fields and provides information on events, conferences, resources and more.
