Two inaugural Affiliated Fellowships from the Fondazione Sicilia were available in recent years. One was open to Sicilian visual artists with significant achievements in their fields of endeavor but not yet well established in their career. The other Affiliated Fellowship was for a Sicilian scholar in disciplines eligible for a Rome Prize.

These two Affiliated Fellows joined the AAR community for a period of eight weeks to pursue their work in an inspiring, collaborative, and supportive environment.
