Stephanie Pilat’s project examines the Ina-Casa program, a worker’s housing project implemented in Italy after the destruction of World War II. She argues that the spiritual rebuilding of the nation is tied directly to the physical reconstruction. The work to be done in Rome will be an extension of the research she is currently conducting as a Fulbright scholar.
