In Rome, Ken Ueno will compose a multimedia theater work for the violist Kim Kashkashian and the percussionist Robyn Schulkowsky, which will also include a dancer, a narrator, and a live-performance visual artist. The piece is intended as a companion to Luciano Berio’s Naturale. Ueno will also compose a chamber orchestra piece for the Netherlands Youth Symphony.
