Identifying, comparing, and contrasting models has long been at the heart of many different humanities disciplines. In the past half century, the theory and methods of intertextuality have acquired a distinctive prominence in literary studies, and attracted a comparable degree of criticism. The workshop brings together specialists in various fields who will reflect on the specific practices and theoretical assumptions which operate in Archaeology, Classics, Modern Literatures, and Art History, with a view to comparing and intersecting different methodological approaches.

The papers will be given in English.
