Alessandro di Pietro’s work focuses on processes of normalization and deviation from the standardized and the canonical. Drawing on linguistic structures and cinematic grammar, he generates new, evolving narratives in relation to suggestive environments.

Di Pietro is the Cy Twombly Italian Fellow in Visual Arts. He lives and works in Milan.
