Rome Prize

For over a century, the Rome Prize has supported innovative and cross-disciplinary work in the arts and humanities. Each year, the prize is awarded to about thirty artists and scholars who represent the highest standard of excellence.

Italian Fellows Program

Italian Fellows pursue their own projects and participate in the Academy’s collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

Affiliated Artists & Scholars

The Academy hosts recipients of short-term residencies awarded by educational and cultural organizations in the United States and around the world.

Visiting Artists & Scholars

This program provides artists and scholars of all nationalities the opportunity to experience the intellectual and artistic freedom, interdisciplinary exchange, and innovation that characterizes Academy life.

Classical Summer School

This five-week program is designed to provide participants with a well-founded understanding of the growth and development of the city of Rome through a careful study of material remains and literary sources.
