The Academy hosts exhibitions in its galleries several times a year in Rome. Sometimes those exhibitions go on the road. Often they are accompanied by a catalogue.

Academy Books

The American Academy in Rome has published many books over the years under its own name and imprint, and also in collaboration with other publishers.

Memoirs

Published since 1915, the Memoirs of the American Academy in Rome is an annual, peer-reviewed journal that publishes innovative scholarly articles in ancient, medieval, Renaissance, early modern, and modern Italian studies, as well as cross-cultural projects that share Italy and its influences.

Supplements to the Memoirs

The Supplements to the Memoirs of the American Academy in Rome, established in 2002, consist of monographs and edited volumes on topics in the humanities related to the fields represented by the American Academy in Rome. Volumes are produced with the University of Michigan Press.

Papers & Monographs

The series Papers and Monographs presents publications on Italian topics of all periods, published for the American Academy in Rome by the University of Michigan Press.

Cookbooks

The Little Bookroom has published five cookbooks by three Rome Sustainable Food Project chefs. Each is filled with delicious and economical recipes.

Society of Fellows News

Society of Fellows News was a newsletter, published seasonally between 1986 and 2009, that featured news, articles, interviews, and more. You may download PDFs of issues from 2001 to 2009.
