On Saturday, May 28, 2011, the American Academy in Rome hosted a public program on “Cosmopolitanism” in its Conversations That Matter series. AAR Director Christopher S. Celenza (1994 Fellow) moderated a wide-ranging discussion that highlighted six current Rome Prize recipients from a variety of disciplinary perspectives.
Featured in this conversation are 2011 Academy Fellows Seth Bernard, Stephanie Malia Hom, Ersela Kripa, Stephen Mueller, Stéphanie Nadalo, and Barbara Naddeo. Here is a short, five-minute introduction to the seventy-five-minute program.
