Giancarlo Tursi is the 2025 Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Rome Prize Fellow in modern Italian studies and assistant professor of translation studies in the Department of French and Italian at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

A composer based in Forio, Italy, Daria Scia is the 2025 Marcello Lotti Italian Fellow in Music at the American Academy of Rome.
