AAR's recent event "Pairings: Progress and Tradition through Food and Wine," was covered by the Corriere della Sera's Roberta Petronio.
The event featured a culinary experience as well as two panels bringing together chefs, culinary figures, vintners, and scholars to explore the future of food amid the climate crisis—and what lessons can be learned from the past. It was the first of a new series of environmental humanities programs at the Academy, at the intersection of the environment, climate, and sustainability, and humanities disciplines.
