Eddie Bradley, Jr.
Eddie Bradley, Jr., is the former Chair of the Department of Theatre and Performance at Spelman College. As an artist, he has written and directed special projects for Walt Disney Entertainment, including tributes to Eartha Kitt, Diahann Carroll, Chita Rivera and Louis Gosset, Jr. His plays include, Ray & Sons, An Evening with Ira Aldride, an adaptation of Black Nativity and most recently, An American Anthem, partially funded by a Carnegie-Rockefeller Priority Award. Eddie has a BFA in Acting/Directing from NC A&T State University, and graduate degrees from Virginia Tech and Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. While in Rome, he will study commedia dell’arte as a comedic form to create a new work based on Moliere’s play, Tartuffe.
