Richard Gluckman
Since establishing his architectural practice in 1977, Richard Gluckman has closely aligned his work with the world of art and design, creating distinctive spaces for numerous art galleries for Larry Gagosian, Andrea Rosen, Paula Cooper, Mary Boone, and Roland Augustine. He has also assisted contemporary artists such as Jenny Holzer, Richard Serra, Dan Flavin, and Robert Wilson, and Francesco Clemente on their installations.
Notable projects include the Museo Picasso Malaga in Spain (2004); the Mori Arts Center in Tokyo (2003); the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum and Study Center in Santa Fe (1997 and 2001); the renovation of the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York (1995–98); the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh (1994); and Dia Center for the Arts in New York (1987).
