Project description
During my time at the American Academy in Rome, I plan to compose two new works: (1) A Violin Concertino for the violinist Axel Strauss; and (2) a puppet opera entitled A Shadow Opera for Adorno Ensemble, with the librettist Robert Glick, the choreographer Alison Salzinger, the bass clarinetist Laura Carmichael, and the percussionist Chris Froh.
