The landscape architect Peter Schaudt died suddenly on July 19 at this home in Villa Park, Illinois. He was 56.
"Peter’s nearly three-decade long career was filled with accolades, accomplishments, and successes," says his firm Hoerr Schaudt in a salute on their website. He is survived by his wife Janet, his daughter, Elaine; a son, Elliot; his father, Harry; and two brothers, Eric and James, as well as his entire Academy family. He worked extensively with Dan Kiley, RAAR 1976.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, 24 July at the Steuerle Funeral Home, 350 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park. The family also will receive visitors at 10 a.m. Saturday before an 11 a.m. memorial service in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 545 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park.
