Tara Mia Paone

Tara Mia Paone joined the American Academy in Rome in 2021. Before joining the AAR team, she held CFO positions at Geller Advisors, New Visions for Public Schools, and the Fund for Public Schools, as well as a variety of positions at other nonprofits, Coconino County in Arizona, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and the City of New York. Originally from New York City, Paone earned a BA in international relations and economics from Mount Holyoke College and a master’s of public administration in urban public policy from the Wagner School of Public Service.
