This program, established in 2010, enables a member of the University of Tennessee community to spend six weeks in residence at the American Academy in Academy.

The award is available to all University of Tennessee faculty members and graduate students in disciplines eligible for a Rome Prize. Fields in the humanities are: ancient studies, historical preservation and conservation, medieval studies, Renaissance and early modern studies, and modern Italian studies.
