for synthesizer and magnetic tape
Marta De Pascalis presents a new composition for synthesizers and tape, rooted in her research on analogue sound as living matter. This work explores the sonic possibilities of analogue synthesis and machine-mediated perception. Circuit-based technology becomes a catalyst for sensory perception, while sound synthesis unfolds as cosmic speculation, translated into vibrations and sonic forms that traverse the listener in a transformative experience, investigating how sound can shape emotional engagement with music.
