An inquiry that takes the geopolitical, historical and imaginative space of the Mediterranean Sea as a starting point to explore the current geopolitical turmoil caused by massive migration and its effect on an inherited, collective identity in the region. Invernomuto plans to further develop their research about the historical origins of the contemporary situation, focusing on the city of Rome as a site and using the Academy as an interdisciplinary laboratory.
