Lisa Marie Mignone will continue work on her dissertation, Fare L’Aventino: A Social and Urban History of the Aventine in the Roman Republic, which reexamines the Aventine hill of Rome including an analysis of its topography, politics, infrastructure, and social development in context of the city as a whole. Her research will be rooted in primary sources: ancient historical texts and archaeological evidence.
