Claudia Consolandi & Giovanni Aldobrandini – On Collecting Books
On the occasion of the opening of Artists Making Books: Pages of Refuge, we will hear the collectors Claudia Consolandi and Giovanni Aldobrandini unpack their selection of books. The two will discuss how their collections started and how they continue to grow. The event will be moderated by Ilaria Puri Purini, the Academy’s Andrew Heiskell Arts Director.
This program, to be presented in person at the Academy as well as on Zoom, is free and open to the public.
Artists Making Books: Pages of Refuge is curated by Ilaria Puri Purini, Andrew Heiskell Arts Director, and Sebastian Hierl, Drue Heinz Librarian, with Lexi Eberspacher, Program Associate for the Arts.
The conversation will be held in Italian.
