Project description

Thomas Tsang is a cofounder of Architecture of Metropolitan Post, based originally in Hangzhou, China. He was born in Malaysia and received his BArch from the Cooper Union in 2000. His project is an investigation into the cultural tensions between an engineered landscape and a natural landscape. Rome is a perfect city for the site of this investigation as it has, more than other European cities, consistently grappled with reconciling its cultural identity with the elements of a modern society.
