Carol E. Harrison is the 2025 Millicent Mercer Johnsen/National Endowment for the Humanities Rome Prize Fellow and professor in the Department of History at the University of South Carolina.

Jen Shyu is the 2025 Elliott Carter Rome Prize Fellow and a composer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, dancer, and producer. She is also th co-founder, co-president, and co-CEO of the Brooklyn-based Mutual Mentorship for Musicians (M³).
