The theoretical framework within which my research develops is “Appropriate Technologies,” that is to say, those technologies that respond effectively in terms of implementation and maintenance to the specific cultural, social, economic, and technological contexts in which they are applied. I will use my time at the Academy to frame a monographic study of my applied work, considering the ethical implications of a resilient, ecological, and fundamentally local architecture.
