
Rafi Lehmann
Rafi Lehmann joins the American Academy in Rome as Board Relations Coordinator. He comes from the Architectural League of New York, where he coproduced over sixty public programs and served as managing editor of the Young Architects book series. Lehmann has also worked at the National Park Service in Washington, DC; the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo; the Association on American Indian Affairs in Providence, Rhode Island; and the Southpoint School in Varanasi, India.
Lehmann holds an AB in history from Princeton University and studied landscape architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. His research has focused on the geographies of memory and the material and immaterial reconstruction of lost places.
