What’s New
Rome Sustainable Food Project
The Rome Sustainable Food Project is at once a production and teaching kitchen whose daily success relies strongly upon a team of interns. Living and training in Rome for a period of five-and-a-half months, they learn alongside an American and Italian kitchen staff to cook for the Academy community.
Italian Fellows Program
The American Academy in Rome is offering a postdoctoral fellowship for scholars working in the field of Modern Italian Studies and a fellowship in Musical Composition and for the 2026–2027 academic year. The application deadline is February 9, 2026.

Time and Space to Think and Work
