At the beginning it was only a short story about the importance of having an enemy. An enemy can shape your identity, as a man, as a women, as a country.
But dealing with the enemy means at the same time dealing with forgiveness. It was at that time that I met Karen Green’s work, and her touching Forgiveness Machine.
This was the beginning of a great revolution on my idea. I started making researches, interviews, traveling throughout the world, in the name of Forgiving.
And the short story became more and more exigent, began asking me things, became hungry and angry, and I had to accept that the short story wanted to be a novel.
I’m still looking for it, traveling, writing notes. I hope that novel will forgive me for looking for her, and finally will bring me enough words to write it down.
