Shop Life, a new permanent exhibit at the Tenement Museum in New York City, officially opens for guided tours on December 3. Pamela Keech, FAAR'82 curated the exhibit and designed the 1870s lager beer saloon and saloon keeper's apartment that now occupy a former classroom in the basement of the 1863 tenement building at 97 Orchard Street.

The Cultural Landscape Foundation is featuring a piece on landscape designer Ralph Griswold, FAAR'23, RAAR'50. Griswold, who died in 1981, is known for his work at Chatham Village in Pittsburgh and at the University of Virginia, as well as designs for the Academy and the World War II cemetery at Anzio.

Michael Graves, FAAR'62, RAAR'79, winner of the 2012 Richard H. Driehaus Prize from the School of Architecture at the University of Notre Dame, spoke there on November 28. His lecture "A Grand Tour," recounts some of his adventures traveling during his fellowship year. His acceptance speech for the Driehaus Prize earlier this year is here.
